We never have snow in New Orleans. Well, we do have it every few years, but not like this. We had those big, fat, wet flakes coming down. It covered the ground and stayed there

until about noon. Enough time to make snowmen, to make for grand photos and snow angels and snarl traffic for hours. Most schools and businesses closed, so we had a marvelous unplanned holiday right there after Monday. Now that’s nice!
